Aegis Wing is a horizontal shooter available to Xbox Live members. It contains six levels you can complete by yourself or with three friends. You will have your basic shooting along with the powerups to aide in your enemies demise: sheild, power beam, homing rockets, EMP blast, health and respawn teammate.
You can also combine your ship with your teamates. With one press of a button, your ship will attach to your friends ship. Your friend will then be in charge of piloting the combined ship and shooting horizontally, you will have the ability to shoot in 360 degrees for more accurate defense. When all 4 ships combine, all powerups gain an effective boost increasing the number of missiles deployed, enlarging the beam’s diameter etc.
