Sauerbraten is a fast paced first person shooter. The game contains a single player game mode but the focus is on the multiplayer. The weapons are basic with your shotgun, sniper rifle, machine gun, grenade launcher etc. A popular game mode has 2 teams battling for control points that give you health armor, and ammo for your guns. These control points also give your team points which decide who wins the game. Other game modes include capture the flag and deathmatch. A big feature is a special map editor based on geometry that allows the community to easily make and modify maps. The game also has a heavy metal soundtrack.
