Drift City is a RPG and racing game squished together. You race in the cities of Mittron Island doing quests, deliveries, tuning your car, and racing other island inhabitants. As you do island activities you gain experience, level up and collect Mito (money). The higher your level climbs, the more areas of the island you unlock, and with each section of the island you gain about 9 more tracks. If you go to the Battle Zone you can race against fellow islanders and your friends to fight it out for first place.
When racing, you will go through ‘powerup’ gates which will give you abilities: repair, booster and invulnerability. You also earn ‘Boost Points’ by: driving on the wrong side of the road, closely passing traffic, hitting ramps and drifting. Once your boost meter is full you will have a short burst of speed to pass your opponents.
You will be able to purchase aesthetics and performance-enhancing upgrades. You can purchase upgrades at any level with real money.
Drift City is a fun and relaxing racer. The cities and story are a nice single-player experience, and the multiplayer is fast. Get a nice racing music playlist together for this game and enjoy the ride. – RenegadeFerret 8/3/2010
