F.E.A.R. Combat is the free multiplayer-only portion of the game F.E.A.R. (single player not included). You can chose from a set of classes each wielding different weapons: shotguns, smgs, assault rifles, snipers etc. You will find a variety of common FPS modes like Team Death Match and Conquest. Some modes have a Slo-Mo feature where both teams fight to hold the slo-mo item. At certain time intervals, the team holding the item will have normal speed while the other team will be put into slow motion. FEAR also has a more advanced melee system; you can slide, jump kick or do a roundhouse on your opponent!
*We are having trouble getting the free game to work because most games require you to download and install a patch. The patch will not install. If you know a fix, please contact us.
If you purchase the game you will have a single player campaign and an easy time patching the online game.
F.E.A.R. was a big-release game a few years ago and the multiplayer is fantastic; the aesthetics are nice, the gameplay is smooth, and the weapons are awesome. Don’t forget to check out Slo-Mo games! - RenegadeFerret 8/4/2010
