Sudden Attack

Sudden Attack is a modern FPS with a large variety of maps for each game mode. The money system works by giving you points after each game you play. You can then use these points to purchase weapons for a limited time. One of the game’s hosting companies wants you to provide a National ID or Social Security Number to play (may change in the future, but good to know they requested at one point). Read the Opinion section below for more thoughts on the Social Security Number request.

    Game Modes
  • Team Deathmatch - You constantly respawn and compete for the most kills for your team.
  • Mission - One team has a bomb and the other team must disarm it. There is no respawning until the next round.
  • Item Retrieval – Capture the flag. Offense grabs the target and brings it back to there base.
  • Property Defense - One team is on offense and the other on defense. If the offensive team is on the target for long enough they win, and if the defensive team deny them for time of the round they win.
  • Submission - Team Battle with melee weapons, there is no respawning until the round is finished.

I have played the game a few times and thought it was one of the better free FPS games out there. However I am cautious about downloading the game again because the first time I downloaded it, the game ruined my PC’s sound so bad that I had to wipe my hard drive clean and start from scratch. That download was from GameHi. However I would trust GameHi more than AsiaSoftSea.

AsiaSoftSea wants you to provide a National ID, basically they want US Citizens to provide their Social Security Number. YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER TO ANYBODY, ESPECIALLY A GAME SITE ON THE INTERNET. AVOID THAT COMPANY AT ALL COSTS.

From my bad experiences with Sudden Attack I am completely turned away from it even though I had a lot of fun playing. I will not recommend this game to anybody because of my bad experiences. - RenegadeFerret 8/15/2010
