I have posted all entries from the old ATFO Blog. Black boxes represent videos, but they aren't linked here. You must find them elsewhere in the archive.
I’ve explained everything on a new web page: GoATFO.com/landing
Please check it out.
Unfortunately Blip.tv will be removing all of my videos, and 90% of ATFO website videos were posted using Blip. It is out of my hands but I should already have everything backed up.
If you would like me to repost specific videos, let me know in the forums and I will do it ASAP using YouTube.

Hello all, I was recently asked for an episode what was going on with ATFO. The short answer, nothing… I’ve been working really hard in the real world side of things and haven’t been able to update anything yet. I went ahead and recorded some ramblings for your entertainment, don’t expect much though, things have been a bit dull on my end haha.
Some other things to note, my ability to record PC games is halted due to some file corruption on my video drive. I can’t fix anything until I get some real world projects finished first (December). Also, check out my latest sportscar videos at youtube.com/sweetcarsgallery. I have posted one below the episode!
Soldier Front 2 is now in beta, I play a mixed bag of modes in this first impressions video!
I talk about the happenings of the past few months and show off the free (or paid) game Super House of Dead Ninjas. In the episode I talk about some real world video work I do, you can check out some of my work here: http://goatfo.com/forums/showthread.php?3867-My-Internship-Videos&p=41937#post41937
I show the process from beginning to end on how to create a simple graphic that appears and adds icons onto it. Amp up the quality to HD for a better view.
I’m not satisfied with the quality of this episode, but due to time constraints I have to release it in its current state. Tony wanted to see a bit of what goes into making titles or graphics for videos so I somewhat showed how I made the end to my old SMNC videos.
I can do a much better job and maybe video an entire process of creating custom graphics for something if you guys want, but I would like to have an idea. Perhaps have me try to replicate something somebody else did that you like, or send me your own footage and idea then have me execute it.
I also forgot to mention you can create titles in video editing programs themselves, another reason I’m not proud of this video.
ATFO Updates have been pushed aside long enough, they should be on a forced timeline soon!
A quick 20 minute video about making videos.
Some random real world ramblings and the usual nonspecific ‘future of ATFO’ speech! We are still hard at work on the subsite, closer and closer.
Due to my SMNC Distraction Assassin guide, some new traffic may come in.
If you have questions you want me to do for a show, post in Ask The Furry One on Air:
http://goatfo.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?2-Ask-The-Furry-One-On-Air
Sorry the site is a bit of a mess right now, I’m working on fixing it.
Keep in mind I’m nothing special when it comes to these competitive games, but I did my best to give some advice.
Doubleocow joins me in ATFO Episode 204 to compare some games.
I have recorded a total of 34 SMNC commentaries, did you know that? Here’s the playlist:
http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLB7A2BD61A46DFB86&feature=plcp
Episode 203 contains my summer activities and an amateur analysis of Free vs Paid FPS competitive quantities.
I recently did two player critiques for Ninja Tony, the second video has a couple of brief fps strategies. It may be worth a watch if you have nothing else to do!
First Critique link: http://blip.tv/renegadeferret/player-critique-ninja-tonyz-mw3-6160334
Second Critique video below:
I played this game about a year back, I’m surprised it hasn’t advanced much since then.
As you all know I’ve been busy (as usual) lately. So I made a video telling you what things I’ve been up to, and where some of our projects lay. Of course none of this progress comes without hard work, so I rant and rave about doing well in school and being honest with yourself because I am now seeing those start to pay off compared to other students.
I see I haven’t posted any videos here in a while… I have been uploading weekly to YouTube. I think it is time again to apologize for not being able to put as much time into ATFO as I would like. But that limited time is due to real world progress with school and jobs. Some behind the scenes items are slowly advancing as well. In the meantime, here are some videos!
Just one day later comes the second commentary:
Next live commentary will be Veteran on the old Spunky arena. I think I will do Assassin fourth unless somebody has another request.
I spent the day organizing a script for a SMNC Basic Tutorial video. A few other people made videos for it, but I can hopefully make a more ‘professional’ video.
Make sure you didn’t miss the last ATFO update below.
I recently watched an old episode where I claimed I would have the skills to make websites and well-edited videos. Turns out I have reached my goal, and it feels nice to have done it on schedule.
Check out my new commentary series on Super Monday Night Combat. Complete with HD and an awesome YouTube ending sequence (if nothing else watch the last 30 seconds to see my new skills in action).
I plan to create more SMNC Tutorials and have already created an ATFO Clan Sector if you would like to join.
It feels good finally producing content again, and something much different and new is on the horizon (not to mention the new ATFO Website).
If you don’t have Super Monday Night Combat Beta access yet, you must be crazy. I played one game and got enough footage to make a good video in the present ‘fast and edited’ format. I was able to make this rather quickly, mostly because it didn’t cover too complex material. It lacks character and entertainment value, but production speed (and quality) were excellent.
It has finally arrived! I talk with Keith Fox, doubleocow, Prideofni and Cha about the history of the show for 2 hours. This was a trial run for the 5th year anniversary History of ATFO segments planned so if you have any ideas on how this can be improved let me know on the forums. Enjoy:
Seeing as I have basically be gone for a month, I went ahead and made a video saying where I am in various projects. I also compare XBox to PS3 and talk a bit about clan sector management.
I’m back from traveling and ready to get some Olympic Gaming on! The official thread has all the info you need to join. We have many nice prizes as well. Here is the schedule for the ATFO Winter Olympics:
As for Other News
My mind is flustered with multiple projects, I am chipping away at anything I can. Episode 200 has been recorded, but I need to edit it and make 199 (anyone have questions?). Good things are on the horizon.
I also created a Guild Wars 2 ATFO Clan Sector (what a mouthfull), we can start getting organized before the game is released.
To my surprise, Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon was released on Steam yesterday. I was so excited I went ahead and recorded a show with my first play of a few missions with comments on ATFO and other games I recently played. (I now know this game has been out on XBox 360 for about 5 months)
If you know nothing of EDF, I recommend you watch a review of Earth Defense Force 2017 for XBox 360. The game is freaking awesome and I recommend you play it before getting Insect Armageddon. 2017 is the game people seem to be preferring to this new release, but I think both are good because both are different.

ATFO Ep. 198
Sorry I haven’t posted any videos lately, I’ve been wrapping up a bunch of school projects. Now that winter break is here I hope to knock out a bunch of ATFO work too. We have a lot of projects going on and if you are collaborating with me keep in touch.
The ATFO Olympics have improved vastly over the seasons. This time I fear we won’t be able to top the Summer Olympics solely due to time constraints. Winter Break for most of us isn’t long so I don’t want to make the Olympics a grand week-long event. Instead I want to try something smaller and new.
What if each person chooses a game/event for everyone (that is able) to play? That way people can be sure to have fun in at least one event permitting we get participation from everyone else.
I created a Forum Thread to discuss things further. I hope to get a lot of web work done over winter break when I’m not beating you at your own event!
Only watch Episode 197 if you are interested in seeing my rough classes. I must warn you the video is flustered.
In episode 196 I give my thoughts on Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 after playing the single player campaigns and a little multiplayer. I also say where ATFO is headed in the near-future.
No videos to bring you this week, but the clan site design is finished! We still have a lot of documentation and information to write, but don’t let that stop you from running a clan sector. Unfortunately I will have to turn my attention to recreating the site you are looking at now, but I will be able to return to the clan site in December.
That being said, we are starting a new monthly event entitled Community Chat. The first Saturday of each month, I will be on Ventrilo and anybody can join (whether you have a mic or not) to discuss anything ATFO; be it what you like, what you dislike, what you want more of, where you think we should go, new ideas you had etc.
Our first Community Chat will be on Saturday November 5th starting at 4pm EST. I want to focus on:
Of course anything else you want to bring to the table will be discussed too. And a reminder to all Global Agenda players, we are having an Agency Meeting at 7pm EST the same day. I don’t have all the details yet, FadedKaos wants to get everyone together and get organized.
Get your questions or suggestions in for Battlefield 3 early! I have a very busy week, but I will do my best to cover whatever you want.
In this week’s episode I talk about work and spare time, as well as some Global Agenda happenings.
For those of you in our Global Agenda agency, the official agency website can be found at GoATFO.com/clan/globalagenda . We are currently getting organized and coordinated to eventually play AvA, we want to get it right the first time so practice and team-building must come first!
Episode 194 talks about joysticks and other miscellaneous stuff. I didn’t mention to try using an XBox 360 controller (or equivalent) for aircraft in BF3 if you already have one, it may suffice as a decent joystick supplement.
There is a button to the right with the word CLAN on it, I wonder where that will take you? How about to the new clan site still under construction! The design, content and structure isn’t finished yet, but you guys can start running a Game Sector anytime you like now.
Welcome all you Global Agenda players! If you have any questions or suggestions let us know. Sign up on the Forums to get more involved.
Episode 193 is about Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3 and the clan system. I covered a lot on those topics in other episodes so this one may be a bit more random than usual.
Battlefield 3 and random ramblings!
I was suggested to rant about what was on my mind, so I did just that for an hour and a half.
I talk a bit about Red Orchestra 2 and display some information about the clan system in development.
Last week I brought up the idea of officially organizing ATFO into a multi-gaming clan. The forumer’s liked it, so all week we have been brainstorming and making progress.
I’ll probably give all the information in the next ATFO episode (send in more questions). The main idea is that the clan will have sectors for different games (or groups) each run by different people. Each sector will have a page including a blog, sector information, and forum.
This is a big project, but it may be up and running in just a few weeks. The speed this can be implemented goes to show just how big our other secret projects are.
We hope to get it going before Battlefield 3 is released. I don’t know if we will be running servers anytime soon, but we will be recruiting new members. We also plan to play Red Orchestra 2 a good amount, so we will focus there as well.
If you think you would like to run your own group on a game, stay tuned on the forums for information pertaining to the new clan system!
In ATFO Episode 189, I share 10 games I recommend you AVOID! All appealed to me on one way or another initially, but fell short upon playing…
We played Global Agenda for last week’s Saturday Scuffles and recorded it. I realize the show is not so much an official show as it is people rambling on vent for about an hour. It will suffice for now, I don’t want to make Sat Scuff so much about creating videos; I would rather it be about getting together and having fun. If you event-goers would like to turn it into more of a show then we can do that too!
I highly recommend Global Agenda as a fun free/cheap game to play. It is a blast once you reach level 30.
Episode 188 features a Saboteur Review and some possible website plans.
Saturday Scuffles 3 is our best yet! (or is it?) It is obvious the more people we have, the better the show is. Please join us this weekend on APB: Reloaded.
Ramen, Sk8 and Chukz tried to teach me Terraria one day, boy was that interesting… Ramen made a highlight reel!
I have finally been able to make a lot of progress on the subsites recently! The latest episode doesn’t go into much detail on anything, but I talk about the upcoming Sonic Generations, Subsite Excitement and ARMA: Cold War Assault (one of my favorite games)
I also hope to see a lot of you on Team Fortress this Saturday at 9pm!
Double and I got our hands on BRINK last week, boy was it a let-down…
Saturday Scuffles has been recreated! Now anybody from anywhere easily create a game event without the hassle of trying to find players. We will record a bit of every event, and everyone can also earn a small participation prize! Check out our first recording:
ATFO Episode 186 talks about APB and the upcoming Red Orchestra 2. I believe Red Orchestra 2 is more of a Must-Play than Modern Warfare 3!
In Episode 185, I talk about the major things that happened over the past year and some of the episodes that stood out. I’ll link to the video on blip.tv instead of here because the site is currently a pain to work with. Hopefully the new one will be up sooner rather than later.
*If you are trying to find a video or something but the link is broken, let me know on the forums.
It is finally here, lets have some good games this week!
A lot has been done this weekend, here’s the news:
Again we have prizes and points for you all to earn, this time around we are using an ‘Achievements’ system so you can prepare for victory!
In Episode 183, I talk about how to earn Steam prizes, give reviews of the recent Homefront and Medal of Honor single and multiplayers. And run through a list of prizes for the upcoming Summer Olympics (date and time not set yet).
In Episode 182 I talk about Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3’s potential for being competitive games, and what I think makes a game successful competitively in present live events.
I had some problems getting this uploaded, obviously I got it working now. I talk about the history of popular Console FPS Series and how none bridged the generation gap as #1. This may shed some light to why Call of Duty is on top now, and why many people blame it for promoting the ’stat focus’ of new gamers. This video was made to enhance last episode where I talked about Call of Duty never being the best series (in my eyes), and that if all you played was CoD and Soldier Front, you are missing out on a lot of good FPS action.
In Episode 180 I talk about the history of vehicles and pace in the Battlefield series. Plus a new video feature surprise!
I am now hosting a new 15 person Ventrilo Server. If you previously had admin access, send me a PM for new information.
In this week’s episode I talk about community size and possible career paths in medical, law, engineering and business.
In Episode 178 I give a rundown on the Monday Night Combat Tank and Sniper classes. Better watch it if you are new to the game!
In Episode 177, I cover 10 games I recommend you try out this summer. It isn’t a ‘best 10 games ever’ list, it is a compilation of good and somewhat overlooked games that I hope everyone looks into. And remember, I can always help you improve by answering your questions!
All week I have been working on the secret subsite, the owner and I are loving our progress and can’t wait to release it!
I didn’t make any videos this week, but summer events are being planned:
-If you are interested in joining a Call-In Episode post in This Thread
-The ATFO Summer Olympics need games to be nominated by you! Post in This Thread
I have nothing to present this week, but make sure you didn’t miss Episode 176 last week, I posted it late.
Episode 176 talks about the present vs past and recent news.
I have made a followup guide to the Battlefield Heroes Soldier as well as covered the new Punk Shotgun and Multiple Grenade Launcher in this video.
Congratulations to Tony and TTT for destroying me in Fit Gamers. Both of them win a copy of Monday Night Combat, see you in the arena! As for May, I am no longer giving a single prize to one or two people, instead EVERYONE has the chance to earn… Now introducing ATFO Dollars!
ATFO Dollars can be earned for giving that extra bit back to the community. Here’s how they work: You do good, you earn some ATFO Dollars, once you have enough I (Ferret) will use your earnings to buy you an item of your choice!
In this week’s episode, I give a 15 minute MNC gunner demonstration followed by an introduction to the newly-free FPS Global Agenda.
To play Global Agenda for free, get a steam account, go to the games official page and Download the Demo.
I recorded a second BF Heroes Soldier guide to touch up on the class along with the new MGL. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to find any good games which led to an hour of wasted material. I’ll try to record again later in the week.
On the brighter side, I have successfully created a website layout for the upcoming secret subsite! I may not have been able to do much with ATFO over the past year and a half but all that busy work is definitely now paying off.
Can you guess what game I’ll be playing this week? Episode 174 is out.
I’m making good progress on my subsite design, wish I could reveal all but we are going to wait until it is ready to be published!
I’ve been really busy lately and need to get behind-the-scenes work done so I don’t have any videos this week.
But with the start of a new month, comes the chance to win a prize! I will be tracking my progress for Fit Gamers this month, anybody who does more pushups than me will win a copy of Monday Night Combat for PC. My goal is to do at least 60 pushups a day (I bet I will miss a few days due to work). If 60 a day is too much for you, you may still win a prize for giving a good effort if nobody else beats me. All you need to do is track your status in the Forum Blog.
Track My Status
Episode 173 features some more Monday Night Combat!
I started designing one of the secret subsites for school, should be good!
You are in luck! Monday Night Combat (PC) is available to play for FREE this weekend. If you have ever enjoyed an FPS game, you must try MNC out. The game is only $10 this weekend as well. I’ll be playing on Ventrilo throughout the weekend, it will help to have an experienced person explain any questions you have.
In Episode 172 I give an overview of MNC and show some gameplay.
Let me get the boring news out of the way first: No videos or reviews this week, real world stuff needs done.
Now for the goods, but keep in mind I am announcing these without 100% official confirmation.
I have been having a blast playing Monday Night Combat (MNC) these past couple weeks. I won the game for Kieth’s ongoing Fit Gamers event and was able to give a 1 month MNC trial to Count Zero. Count then got a trial to give away and so on. Hopefully a forum thread will pop up where everyone can have a 1 month trial to MNC. Count Zero and I are absolutely in love with this game and we want to get the ATFO community more involved with it.
So Count, Keith and I have been talking about giving Monday Night Combat to a new winner of Fit Gaming each month. The three of us will split the cost in hopes to get a lot of copies out there. Now you must work hard to earn yours. But remember, Fit Gamers isn’t about who can do the most pushups, it’s about everyone doing better for themselves. If 10 pushups a day is a lot for you, then you may win.
Keith won’t be able to manage Fit Gamers because he has a lot of other stuff to do (just ask him). I don’t mind over-watching everybody’s status and keeping the program running. I feel everybody should join the program, it is easy to do and prevents you from turning into a scrawny slug. March is halfway done, but you can still catch up to win a prize! All you have to do is create a regiment (or use Keith’s) and blog about your progress. You can look at my month’s progress for an example. Hope to see some new blogs!
Episode 171 has gameplay of the new Crysis 2 and old Soldier Front.
I made a quick Monday Night Combat guide for Blitz mode.
I answer the question, “Why do we love FPS?” in Episode 170.
I reviewed Shadowgrounds Survivor. This game is overlooked because the prequel wasn’t too great.
I should probably talk my efforts up more haha.
Episode 169 has some more Black Ops knifing.
If you missed my Game Shopping tips then check them out.
I recently finished Shadowgrounds so I went ahead and reviewed it.
I reviewed Battlefield 2142 (which recently released and awesome patch) as well.
Episode 168 has some talk on spawns and some BC2 play.
Episode 167 contains two parts, some Black Ops, and Intersteller Marines preview play.
I have now opened Ferret’s Faves to the public. I set everything up this morning, it is nowhere near finished but I’ll let you all monitor my progress.
Episode 166 is nothing special, don’t bother watching it unless you want to see some Ballistic Knife footage.
Keith is starting a new Fit Gamers regiment where you work to prove your gaming skill and physical fitness. A prize is involved! Check out his Blog for more information.
We are still in need for FOG Nexus editors. Below is a Job Description, you can also find it on the FOG Nexus site.
==============
FOG Nexus is in desperate need of new content. The reason we haven’t added any new games is because we do not have anybody to edit user submissions to presentable quality. The overall scheme of this website was created by myself (RenegadeFerret) with the intentions of community members managing operations 100%. Those members that do maintain the website will make any money from advertising/other assets on this site. If you can maintain this website and edit new content to a presentable quality, the opportunity to earn money is here.
The forums aren’t complete yet, there is still a good amount of work ahead so I’ll keep you updated with any news.
New forums have been installed which now give you the ability to easily maintain a blog! Overall they are setup nicely but there are still a lot of things I need to tweak.
Episode 165 has some website tips and BC 2 Vietnam.
Episode 164 is all about my thoughts on the ATFO show and some ‘behind the scenes’ information as to my thought process when recording. I hope that sums it up at least, I ramble a lot as usual haha.
We should hopefully have some nice updates in the next few weeks so stay tuned!
I am making progress behind the scenes to make ATFO a bigger and better place. I talk a bit about it in Episode 163 as well as show Battlefield Play4Free Beta footage!
The Winter Olympics are now coming to a close and I would like to thank everybody who participated and helped put this together. Prize winners will be contacted throughout the week.
First let me get this out of the way, Episode 162 is a bit flustered but I do play Goldeneye Source!
The forum registration will not be fixed until I can upgrade the whole forum. It may be a few weeks, it may be a few months. This is the last time I’ll say it, send an email to RenegadeFerret@gmail.com if you would like to register an account.
On to the good stuff, official Winter Olympic information can be found here. The event starts each day at 2pm EST (11am PST) and goes until everyone quits. Join us on Ventrilo even if you don’t have a mic!
I’ll make this short and to the point.
I have yet to solve the forum problem. Hopefully I will have it fixed or figured out by next week. Once again, if you would like to join the forums send an email to RenegadeFerret@gmail.com.
Episode 161 is all about the role of snipers in video games.
I made a quick Black Ops Assault Rifle Overview video. I mostly talk about recoil, sights and ammo.
Remember to check out the ATFO Winter Olympics schedule if you haven’t already done so.
Time for an update with a variety of problems, bad news, requests, and good:
The forums are having technical problems which require extra effort to fix. Currently forum account registration is down to prevent further time constraints. Anybody who already has a forum account will not be effected, but if you would like to register a new account please email RenegadeFerret@gmail.com with your desired username. I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Also, if anybody has registered a new account in the past week or two and it has been deleted or banned, that was an accident. Once again, email RenegadeFerret@gmail.com so I can unban your account and set everything right.
Sorry for any problems this is causing and thank you for your patience.
No episodes or video to bring you this week. There wasn’t enough content for the next episode so I’ll extend the question period. I have a lot of real world work to do this weekend anyway.
A question was asked in the newest episode about putting my Black Ops footage/comments from episodes on YouTube. Please post your advice in this thread.
The ATFO Winter Olympics now have a time-table set. Let’s take a nice week off and beat the virtual crap out of each other! We will play from December 27 to January 4. I will post the detailed game time-table on the main website the week before, but you can check out all the details now in this thread. Once again prizes will be given to those who participate most and opportunities to win bonus points will occur each day.
No major updates this week, Episode 160 has a nice variety of game tips and general discussion.
I compare a few BO weapons and equipment in Episode 159. Afterward I talk about the advancements of each Call of Duty from CoD1 to Black Ops.
I have now uploaded the first 25 minutes of the Black Ops veteran campaign and put it on the Episode 157 page.
Episode 158 contains discussion on piracy and features Black Ops MP5K play. I have prestiged, so please send in any BO gameplay requests as early as possible this week so I can unlock the proper Pro versions of Perks.
GoATFO.com is now in effect. Use it to link friends or people you meet in game. It is a lot easier to remember and type than the long AskTheFurryOne.com.
Episode 157 is all about the newest edition to Call of Duty. I show off the main features, project where this game may go, and exhibit the perk balance (the best since CoD 4). If you are deciding whether to get this game or not, don’t miss Episode 157.
WWWatch the newest episode, it contains 3 sets of 2 questions.?!
Call of Duty Black Ops arrives this week, and I will put as much time into as I can to answer your questions on time! As for Black Ops guides, I don’t think I will do a guide for every single weapon and all of their attachments. Instead, I plan to cover general weapon categories like I did for CoD World at War (ie. Assault Rifles, Snipers, Shotguns). If you want me to cover a specific weapon though, please let me know and I will take care of it.
The Bad Company 2 server is no more, we are no longer putting money into it. Thank You everyone who helped populate it (you know who you are). We are now turning the old BC2 playtimes into general gaming times. Saturday nights at 9pm EST we will meet on Ventrilo and play whatever we are in the mood for: Black Ops, BC2 Vietnam, BF Heroes, etc. I hope many of you join us for Saturday Scuffles!
Episode 155 has some more BFH play and a nice quote.
Time again for another Scurvy Skirmish Friday! If you have Battlefield 1942 be sure to install this awesome mod and play.
All I can bring you this week is Episode 154 which features Vindictus gameplay and some words on humor.
Prideofni’s BF Heroes event has been postponed to next Saturday I think.
This week’s Friday Fight Night is AVA.
In this week’s episode I play Minecraft and talk about Apple’s Mac and iPod.
In this week’s episode I play Minecraft and talk about Apple’s Mac and iPod.
I am going to create a side domain to help bring people to the site. I need to find a good name so please take a look at this thread and help me out.
Prideofni is also hosting a BF Heroes event Saturday where you have a chance to win a Team Fortress 2 Guest Pass!
This past month has been hard for me to keep everything running smoothly, I am extremely far behind my ATFO Work Schedule due to tons of real world work. My next chance for somewhat of a break will be at the start of November; hopefully I can get something done then. Sorry I haven’t been able to do as much as usual lately, thank you for your patience.
I haven’t had much time for anything in the past week, I’m sure a lot of you have been busy too. Episode 152 is 30 minutes and briefly discusses laptop companies.
Friday Fight Nights will continue with AVA next!
There weren’t enough questions to make a good episode this week, instead I created a PC Maintenance video to show you some of the things I do to keep my PC running safe and smooth. Hopefully some of you will be able to load videos faster by using my advice.
If you don’t have the ATFO Toolbar in the top of your browser, you better have a good reason! I have created an official site page for the Toolbar created and managed by Mirage_Sniper. Get the latest updates, stream some music, and have ATFO’s hotspots just one click away!
Episode 151 is a nice ‘classic’ ATFO vid. I spend the first half talking about individual killstreak theory (specifically in Modern Warfare 2). The second half is a nice mix of gaming and real world questions.
I quickly recorded the BF Heroes Commando Outfighter guide. Sniping is not the best way to go anymore.
We need volunteers! We have reached the point where we must rely on you, the community, to help maintain and add new content. Check out the Volunteer Work Requests thread to see how you can help. The site wouldn’t be where it is now if it weren’t for volunteers, join the team!
A month overdue, the 150th Anniversary Episode is finally complete. Guests include: Keith ‘Fox Boy’, iamaweirdo, doubleocow, Prideofni, halfshadows, Mirage_Sniper and 1337azn.
Now that the big summer projects have been released, there are many places we could go next. I think I will work on whatever I’m in the mood for. You may see a Battlefield Heroes Sniper guide next week.
I don’t like stating an episode is top-tier until the community decides. Therefore I’ll say Episode 149 is potentially great and it is up to you all to let me know how much you like it.
In Part 2 I talk about school communication and some of the differences between high school and college. And if you haven’t seen Battlefield Heroes’ new map, I play it through most of the video.
This weekend I am starting to edit the 5 hour Call-In episode. It will take more editing than any previous episode and I hope I can get it done in one week.
Welcome to the Grand Opening of FOG Nexus! We currently have 46 games covered and hope to have many more in the future. However, FOG Nexus’s advancement depends 100% on you the user. We encourage you to submit content for any free online game you have played in the past to help your fellow ATFO members!
Site URL: FreeGames.AskTheFurryOne.com
If you are wondering about the title FOG Nexus: FOG is short for ‘Free Online Games’, and Nexus is a synonym for Network. This site isn’t your typical Free Games database, we will only post quality overviews and have many networking methods to help you find a free game that fits your tastes. Wanna know how to get started? Check out the Tour Video below!
I hoped to release the Free Games site by now but odd things have been popping up. I will post the site as early as possible, hopefully it will be within a couple of days. Until then Episode 148 has some talk on the upcoming CoD Black Ops.
-Update-
It’s looking like the site will be released next weekend at the earliest. I apologize for the delay but new problems are coming to our attention while finalizing.
ATFO is working with the Scurvy Dogs and Wake Clan to organize populated Battlefield 1942 Pirates Mod play. Pirates Mod is an incredibly awesome and hilarious game with unique map design, weapons and vehicles. I don’t want to get into specifics because exploring the mod is half the fun! We will get together and play the First Friday of every month. All the information you need can be found by clicking here.
Watch this Pirates Mod video if want to scratch the surface of the game.
Episode 147 is short but I talk about MW2 ACR and M16 attachments.
The first player critique for assasin1129 talks about projectiles and AK vs FAMAS play.
The Free Games site will need at least another week of work before we can release it. Sorry for the wait, but everything needs to be perfect upon opening.
All Call-In groups have been recorded. There’s at least 4 hours worth of discussion and I’ll work on it after the Free Games site is posted. The Call-Ins will be assigned to Episode 150.
I have created a guide for the Battlefield Heroes Commando Infighter who utilizes stealth, a knife and pistol. Outfighter guide will be done in the distant future.
I have resurrected some old Battlefield 1942 guides I did back in Episode 30.
We are trying to repopulate BF 1942. A lot of community members are dusting their old copies off or purchasing it for the first time. I am also working with two clans to organize a mass ‘42 Pirates Mod revival. If you haven’t played it, you are missing out on some insistence hilarious action. The game is no more than $10, so get your copy today!
Episode 146 has a 40 minute discussion on technical PC stuff and gameplay videos.
The first player critique for aesthetics has been done on Soldier Front sniping.
Episode 145 is 30 minutes and I talk a bit about choosing weapons with similar stats.
The Free Games site is close to ready. I hope to release it as early as 2 weeks, but it may be as late as 5 depending on how smoothly finalization goes.
This is your last chance to sign up for text-chat and call-in episodes. Register on the forums as soon as possible!
---------------------------------------------
New Info - I have resurrected some Battlefield 1942 guides I did in ATFO Ep. 30. Find them in the tutorial section.
Swiper Smarts
Swiper Smarts Episode 1 is now posted! Because we recorded the first segment early (and it was our first time), the show starts out a bit slow. However it gets better and better as time goes on. Even if you aren’t into the questions, you can jam to Second Hand Panic’s music which is playing throughout.
Episode 1 does contain mistakes and problems, after listening please head over to the discussion thread and tell us what you liked, disliked and any improvement ideas. From your feedback we will be able to create a solid show, after all it only took us 9 Tourney Talk episodes to go from poor to incredible!
I have created a thread for submitting Contestant Battle Category ideas. If you have any let us know.
We need a Specialist for the next episode. If you think you have what it takes then sign up! Contestant signups won’t be available for a couple weeks.

We hope you look into the show some more and register to become a contestant or Specialist. It may seem like a lot to take in right now, but you will understand the show better after we record an episode. We just need some brave members to sign up first!
Please read the information threads to learn more. If you still have questions ask here.
Friday Fight Night
Next week’s Friday Fight Night will be a free, fun, browser-based game called Transformice. And if you forgot, Friday Fight Nights start each Friday at 7pm EST (4pm PST).

Bad Company 2 has finally been patched, which means the server can easily be populated again! We have already had 2 successful nights. If you are reading this and have the game, please join us! Weekly play times are Thursdays and Saturdays starting at 10pm EST (7pm PST).
Two projects are coming closer and closer to release. I don’t have any exact dates, but I will say forum goers may get the early info.
Episode 141 has some quick MW2, some good tips on Urban Terror (and other games), and a nice demo of Lead and Gold: Gangs of the Wild West.
*For some reason the video cuts to black occasionally. I cannot fix the problem for this episode, but I am working to prevent it from happening again.
Next FFN will be Modern Warfare 2. We will start by completing a few Spec Ops missions then move onto multiplayer. If you need account information please post in the Friday Fight Night thread.
Episode 140 has some nice rambling over MW2, CoD4 and Trackmania!
I did Mirage Sniper’s Player Critique over a MW2 live stream. I caught a few things but I had a hard time doing it over the stream.
Next week’s FFN (Friday Fight Night) game will be AVA.
Episode 139 includes Modern Warfare 2 and Quake Live footage.
Sunday, June 20th there will be a Soldier Front event.
The next Friday Fight Night will be on the BattleField 2 Demo. It isn’t a big download so please join us!
The biggest news this week is the new weekly community gaming event Friday Fight Nights. Each Friday we will play a different game; not to figure out who the best of the best is, but to simply have fun! Information can be found here, or click on the Friday Fight Nights link in the Events Tab on the right.
The ATFO Summer Gaming Olympics schedule has been made. This is your chance to get to know the community while having a few laughs gaming. You can even win some prizes! Click here for the schedule (also linked in the ‘Upcoming Events’ area)
We’ve been working all week on the Free Games Network. The layout is pretty much set, we need to work on content now. Researching and writing content is a long process, the subsite should be released sometime this summer.
No episode will be posted this week, I had other things to do and there weren’t too many questions.
ijji is having a PSU wallpaper contest, ATFO’s Brandish Your Brushes art competition will coincide so you have a chance to win some Soldier Front prizes as well as ATFO bragging rights! Click Here for more info.
Episode 136 has about an hours worth of MW2 gameplay, and it is actually decent! Part 1 is mostly gameplay, Part 2 is questions.
I honestly don’t know what to tell you about Episode 135. It felt different recording so I can’t tell you what to expect. I do talk about an issue that came up with MW2 sniper guides.
Which brings me to my next announcement. Mirage_Sniper showed me I overlooked some major statistics for the Sniper Rifles and I am rerecording each guide. Before I thought two sniper rifles were absolutely useless compared to the M21, they are actually more balanced than I stated. I also noticed I could have used more descriptive words to describe the weapons. Once again they will be rereleased throughout the week.
The summer of work is off to a good start. First up, Episode 134 has a nice variety of gameplay and questions.
I have also completed MW2 Sniper Rifle guides. You may be surprised to see that two of them don’t perform nearly as well as another one (at least in my eyes). They aren’t ready yet, but they should be posted over the next couple days.
I have also been able to work on the website a bit. Now all logged in forum users will be able to see deletion notices for posts or threads deleted. And as I’m sure you have seen, the front site now has two sidebars instead of one. This is to prepare for future subsite link graphics and the new Upcoming Events box. Anyone who logs onto the site will be able to find information of future community events. I still need to do more to the section; I will post a ‘how to get your event posted’ page as well as a guide for hosting and participating in events. These new editions should help create bigger and better ATFO events!
I promise next week there will be more updates than a single video. It marks the start of the ATFO summer work session. For now though, check out Episode 133.
Sorry to say it again but only one video will be posted this week. Episode 132 features gameplay from Modern Warfare 2 and Alliance of Valiant Arms.
And to anybody interested in creating art, whether you want to show off your skills or work to improve, check out the Brandish Your Brushes art competition on the forums!
All I have to bring you this weekend is Episode 131. Part 1 is about potential sub-websites. If you get bored with it move on to Part 2 where I diagram a few BF Heroes skirmishes.
I will soon have more free time to work on videos and content, sorry for the guide delays.
A SF Team Tourney will be held today. Afterwards we plan to play MW2 together. Steam is letting us play MW2 for free this weekend so join us! If you are just now hearing about this, you must not be a forum user. Join the forums for the best info and events!
*Please note that I am not the organizer of the events, if you have trouble finding information on when, where, or how to play, talk to the event hosts. (All hosts of any event should provide enough detailed information so NOBODY can gets lost)
Episode 130 includes MW2 and BC2 weapon gameplay.
An EVL AK103 has been donated for review by metrofreak2. The weapon isn’t much to my liking.
I have better-organized and updated the donate information page.
This weekend I will be away, I will try to plan out the ‘quick tip’ Bad Company 2 guides while I’m gone.
Episode 129 is all the video I will have for you this week, hope you enjoy sniping.
Episode 128 is played on MW2, I talk a bit about high-level play and projects.
I don’t know when I will be able to get BC2 videos done, I’ll work on organizing the content this weekend.
The ATFO 24/7 Rush Ranked bf bad company 2 server is now live! Check out more information here.
Episode 127 includes a lot of game information and discussion. If you play BC2 or MW2, you should definitely check it out.
Sorry but I won’t have any more videos ready this weekend, I have too much going on at the moment. MW2 guides should resume next weekend along with a BC2 Beginner Tips and Tactics video.
As my short vacation ends, I am glad to have gotten a good amount of videos done. As of this moment, all Modern Warfare 2 assault rifles, smg’s, pistols, machine pistoles and shotguns have been posted. We are also waiting on EA to give us access to the Bad Company 2 server we will be hosting. Hopefully it will be available this week. Ramenlover also took some time to smooth out the rough edges (literally) on the ATFO logo. So be on the lookout for sharper images!
I plan to record and upload a ton of Modern Warfare 2 guides this week. I can’t guarantee how many get done or when they will be posted, but I will do my best to bring you as many as possible. Please check back every few days to see what I have finished.
Episode 124 is half an hour long and includes AVA footage.
I plan on recording as many MW2 Assault Rifle guides as possible this weekend. I’ll keep you updated here.
Episode 123 is a long one, I talk a lot about… well you know… games.
I have also finished recording MW2 guides for all the SMGs. Check back to see all 5.
I was only able to get the episode finished today before losing my voice. Please check back for more videos over the next few days.
I have a lot of work to do with videos, sites, new ideas and maintenance. I tried recording more than two videos this week but my brain couldn’t take the overload. This weekend I am taking a bit of a break hoping I can be more productive in the upcoming weeks. The newest episode felt very unorganized to me. The beginning may be a bit slow, but later I talk about an upcoming ATFO feature and the development of the site.
I just recorded some quick beta class tutorials for the upcoming Battlefield Bad Company 2 game. I will use them to help advertise the site and the guides planned for the future. The Recon guide IS NOW POSTED!
You better believe it is!
I also created a ‘Coming Soon‘ tab on the top of the site, just in case some of you forget what I have announced.
I sure got a lot of videos done this weekend, and we had a lot of fun during the Trackmania event. Hope a lot of you join us for next weekend’s Battlefield Heroes event!
*If you see any possible mistakes or improvements to be made in this weeks videos please let me know.
Episode 118 features Battlefield Heroes and Modern Warfare 2. I don’t know what else I can say about it =)
The site’s welcome videos should be updated soon. Once that is finished it is time to start on Modern Warfare 2 Tutorials!
We will also have a few contests for input on the upcoming Free Online Games Section. Right now we need your help finding an official title for it. Click Here to give us your submission.
The second call in show has been finished! Episode 116 features kieth, double, bananna, weirdo, half, pride and a secret someone. Thanks again for joining me everyone!
No viewer questions were answered in 116, they were all done in Episode 117. Once again I had a lot of gameplay to cover so I tried to only show action sequences. If your question could be answered better ask again!
Episode 115 is pact full of information and gameplay on Soldier Front, Modern Warfare 2, Battlefield Heroes and Alliance of Valiant Arms!
Next week sould have the call-in episode along with a standard episode. Who knows if anything else will pop up too. Keep playing on and enjoy!
Episode 114 is pretty relaxed. I play Combat Arms, Battlefield Heroes and Call of Duty 4.
I have posted the standard quality version of Episode 113 in case any of you couldn’t view it before.
Episode 112 Status: READY TO WATCH!
I am waiting for a possible something special to happen with Episode 112, but so far I have been let down (the same happened with Ep. 88). I’ll get the episode recorded and posted no later than Monday. Please check back to the top of this post to see if it is available. Sorry for the inconvenience.
High Definition Videos and Feedback
Mirage_Sniper showed me how to create videos in high definition.
After you watch those videos, please let me know what you think of the new High Definition. Should I upload future episodes in HD, or stick with the old way? Please provide feedback in this thread.
Winter Call-In Episode Signup
This time we will use Ventrilo instead of Skype; sign up to be in the Winter Call-In episode here.

What used to be referred to as the User Private Journals section is now called the Underground Memoirs section, and it is open! Underground Memoirs is a board where users can post more in-depth and serious writings. Only Honorary Members and the new Underground Members have access to read everyone’s threads posted in the section.
To have full access to the Underground Memoirs section: upgrade your forum account by clicking here.
To have write-only access: see this thread.
This weekend is really hectic and I don’t know if I’ll be able to record and post an episode. I will shoot to record it Tuesday at the latest. I have closed the questions for Episode 112 and opened the question submission for Episode 113.
I worked on making the videos section easier to navigate. So far I have finished the ATFO Episodes. Just click Videos at the top and you can now click through pages instead of having to use a drag down menu.
Episode 111 is a bit like 110; starts with some iffy Soldier Front play, then gets better when we move to Modern Warfare 2.
Gameplay footage of Battlefield 1943 was requested, I play a game on each of the maps. You can find it in the Random video section or simply click here.
I have also posted a tutorial for scaling images with GIMP. Useful if you want to change the size of an image without warping it. (contains cropping tips as well)
I finally got the episode running with some minor changes. As previously stated, the first half may be a let down to some. Stick around though, the second half is much better. Check it out here.
The ATFO Community is organizing a ‘Winter Olympics Event’ where we will play many different games during winter break. Submit your nominations for possible games to play here.
For some reason a lot went wrong with videos this weekend. I recorded Episode 110; the first part sucked due to video recording problems, but the second was pretty good. Unfortunately the second part is having a ton of problems in editing. I have no idea when I’ll be able to release the episode. I may have to redo parts (or all) of it.
I also started recording a first player critique for our very own SoldierFrontFan. While I was recording I had the feeling it wasn’t the first critique I had done for him. I searched the site and downloads section but could not find the video. After saving the critique I found the old unedited footage of the TRUE first critique. Somewhere in the mess of everything I forgot to edit and upload it. So two critiques for SoldierFrontFan have now been posted. Click here to watch.
December’s Member of the Month contest doesn’t have many nominations. Please nominate your deserving fellow forumers! (nominations end in 1 day)
If any of you Ventrilo users would like a channel for your clan or group, by sending a small donation it can be done! Details can be found on the Ventrilo page.
Episode 109 features Soldier Front and Modern Warfare 2 gameplay. Heads up, the definition of the day may not be the best this episode.
Started a new segment in Episode 108, Definition of the Day! Check it out to see what I mean.
If you want to request a word to be used in the Definition segment, post here.
Able to get it to ya a bit early this weekend. Episode 107 features AK and AN play. It is also posted in the Downloads and MegaVideo sections. (The MegaVideo version takes about a week to convert for watching)
I am also considering an exclusive writing section for people to write ’serious’ journal-type entries they don’t want the entire public to see. Please let me know if this interests you (or you don’t like it), check out this thread.
As the title states, the MegaVideo Section has finally arrived for those of you having problems with the regular player or wanting possibly better quality videos. All I ask is that you watch the introduction video at the top of the section. *Not all videos have been converted to watch, if a video you want to watch isn’t working please let me know.
Episode 106 contains some fancy footwork. Just watch to see what I mean.
Wondering how the WA2000 in Soldier Front performs? Check out the new weapon tutorial! (It also contains some ‘dealing with hackers’ tips)
MLane submitted a video for a player critique. I discuss some decision-making in the video.
Still haven’t found time to finish the MegaVideo section… I also don’t have the new SF Weapon tutorial yet. However Episode 105 is done. I hope I have more time this week to get those other things posted.
Sorry but the MegaVideo section is not ready to go yet. A lot of things have been going on with me lately and it shows in the video. Hope you like sniper rifles, episode 104 is now posted.
Episode 103 has a bit of everything; fps tips, rambling, and the occasional joke. Hope you enjoy.
We will also be offering videos to be watched through Megavideo in the near future for those of you who have problems with the regular player.
I have posted new rules for ventrilo users. You can read them on the Ventrilo Page.
Episode 102 is now posted. You can watch it embedded on the site here, or download it through the Downloads Section.
Episodes will now resume once a week. Watch me play Team Fortress 2 in Episode 101!
I have also added a new forum category to the Real World section entitled ‘Creative Expression’. Here you can share your writing, art, music or anything else you do to express yourself with the community.
Bananna, doublocow, Keith ‘Fox Boy’, halfshadows and Ramenlover have finally arrived! I hope you have a lot of time on your hands because this episode requires it; over three hours worth of footage!
I’ve also included two new songs by Second Hand Panic, I’m sure you will be listening to them over and over again.
You are just one click away, get to it!
Watch Episode 100
And after you watch the episode, why not participate in the Ep. 100 Scavenger Hunt!?
I’m still in the process of editing Episode 100 for release (hopefully this weekend). You can follow my progress here.
Have a problem with ATFO? Do features not work, do you want more of something, is a graphic ugly? I want to know! Please post in the Problems with ATFO thread so we can make this place better than ever.
I’m constantly updating the Downloads section. I’m nowhere near finished yet, but I’m getting there.
Episode 100 will be recorded this weekend. I will have a lot of editing to do with the episode and I hope to finish everything up and release it next weekend.
I rebooted my PC from scratch and it looks like all my Guncam problems have been solved! Let’s hope it stays that way.
I had to rerecord Part 2 of Episode 96. I’ll post that segment on its own for now, after a week or so it will be fused with the first part.
We also have a new Ventrilo server. Should be up 100% of the time so enjoy!
Sorry folks but my primary recording program is down for the count and I cannot get Part 2 of Episode 96 to you until this issue is resolved. I have uploaded Parts 1 and 3, but the missing segment had a majority of your questions answered. Sorry for the delay, I should be able to solve the problem by next weekend. Check out what I have so far for Episode 96 here.
I created a BF Heroes Basic Infantry Guide and will be covering each class in more detail soon.
Don’t forget to sign up for the call in and live chat episodes!
An official thread has been posted for Episode 100. If you would like to call in and talk live for an episode check out this thread. (All you need is a mic or just a regular old phone)
If you won’t be able to call in, but would like to have a live discussion during an episode, check out this thread.
I made a BFH basic airplane guide. Good info for you new pilots out there.
Episode 94 is almost as short as the first episode, hope you are into ghosts!
In Ep. 94 I unveil my idea for Episode 100. Please complete a survey in this thread to help the idea progress.
B3astfr0mth3 has a second critique ready for watching.
I also updated the Player Critique Submission video to explain the process of submitting footage better.
Episode 93 is now posted.
I made my first BF Heroes tutorial: Tank Tips
We will be using an Infraction System on the forums more often, learn more about it in this thread.
I have also posted a forum Moderator Contact List, people you can go to for questions or problems.
And sadly, we will not be making any further Tourney Talk episodes. To everyone who sent in questions and supported the show, thank you.
Episode 92 features more Gold AK footage and the new game Battlefield Heroes!
If you have a suggestion for a Battlefield Heroes tutorial, let me know in this thread.
The SF and CoD4 tutorials have now been redone to their best quality.
If you send video for a player critique, be sure to fill out the information asked for on the Player Critique Submission page.
The event scheduled for Friday the 9th has been canceled. More planning is needed for the event to be successful. Sorry for the inconvenience.
The SF 3v3 Tournament is still waiting for teams. Click for: Tournament Info, Team Finding Thread
A lot of different things go on in this one. All I’ll say is check it out here.
I’ve been having problems finding time to record Ep. 88 part 2, it WILL be done though. Thanks for your patience.
ATFO summer events are being planned by members. I will give more details in the future, right now I gotta high tail it out of here. Check the forums for more info.
First let me just appologize, Episode 88 part 2 is not recorded yet. I will get it done as soon as possible though.
Episode 88 will have two parts. The first is available now, the second will be posted in a few days.
I answer questions and ramble a bit at the end. Check it out here.
Player Critiques should be done in a few days.
Sorry to say it, but there will not be any new videos this week. It is because ALL the old videos will be updated with better quality soon! I also have a lot of player critiques to bring you next week as well. So be patient, and great things will come.
Both IJJI and ATFO have some nice updates to bring you this week!
Want to chat it up with other members? Join us on Ventrilo!
We have a new forum skin entitled ATFO 2.0! Don’t worry, you can still use the old skin if you prefer.
Some of you might be thinking, “Neo Shang? What about Village?” I still need more playtime on that map to make a good tutorial. Neo Shang just adds small changes to the original so it was much easier to do. Sorry for the delay, but it is better to make a good video than a quick one.
Episode 85 is one of those episodes where nearly everything went wrong. I wasn’t in a good recording mood and I had to completely code it 3 times… Sorry for the delay, here it is.
Yoshidude has a second critique done!
Social Groups have a nice update. Now easier to communicate!
Episode 84 is here with 20 minutes of internet browsing and AWP action.
PLAYER CRITIQUES SUBMISSION PAGE UPDATED
It now has a video showing how to find and send your replay tapes.
Just want to remind everyone: The best place to contact me or others for information is the forums and not the “Comments Box” under the videos. I might never see them or won’t see them for a few days after they are posted.
Sorry but I might have missed some critique videos or information in the past. I had some crazy weeks and I didn’t have the Critique recording process down yet. If I missed something please resubmit it using the guidelines. Thank you
I was a bit out of it while recording, anyway here it is.
Also don’t forget to check out the EVL MP5 and Gold AK-47.
Thanks to Sk8boy228 I have some rare weapons to review!
Here are a couple of them:
EVL MP5
Gold AK-47
Episode 82 will be posted sometime from Sunday to Monday. Sorry for the wait but I have a heck of a lot going on right now.
I have gotten a lot done the past couple of days:
If you are relatively new to ATFO, you probably missed out on one of my greatest creations: ATFO Hits the Big Screen! You can find it through the “Extras” tab at the top.
The Type89 tutorial has finally arrived. I think it is a pretty good reference if you are deciding to buy the gun or not.
Episode 81 including Soldier Front and Call of Duty 5 is posted.
New section entitled “Player Critiques” can now be found in the “Videos” section at the top. I critique two games played by iamaweirdo. If you are interested in submitting a video, please read this page.
New shop items have been added: online consoles and a couple guns
New games are being added to the arcade
I’m not done yet, I still have a ton of things to bring you folks! Just be sure to give me some more time haha.
It is 30 minutes long and was rushed… I have a crazy weekend ahead of me so I had to get this episode done quick. Don’t worry though, all questions were answered! Check it out here.
This weapon differs a bit from the rest, check out the MP7!
Once again, nonstop Soldier Front play for you guys. I can’t guarantee it’s good though haha. Check it out here.
We now have the newest version of vBExperience which allows you to sell back to the shop or gift purchased items to other members!
And all Tourney Talk episodes now have excellent quality! (except Ep. 1 of course)
Episode 78 is entirely Soldier Front. Hope you enjoy it!
I also have a guide for the Trench Gun on CoD World at War.
If anyone thinks their clan has a chance of winning 1 million sp and they would like to donate some of that for weapon reviews, let me know so I can put an account in there!
Finally here. Sorry it took so long, I ran into a lot of random problems with editing.
Clem’s profile also has some new HD Remix videos we randomly found on youtube. Check them out!
-edit- iamaweirdo and iTBanK Yakuza told me there were repeated scenes in the episode, I have fixed it now. Thanks again guys!
With the debut of Street Fighter 4, we thought the show could use a little more kick (and not just from Chun Li). Tourney Talk is now bigger and better than ever: I’m proud to present you our first episode of Season 2! Episode 10 includes an in-house tournament, the results of Naptown Clash, and of course, answers to your questions! So sit back, relax and enjoy the show.
ATFO Ep. 76 is also posted here. 77 will be created for the weekend of March 21.
I am now able to make better quality embedded videos. If you think a video I have posted in the past should be redone, please post in this thread.
Thank you all, I put a lot of work into these video, I hope you love them!
JinJosRus said he will be creating an ATFO Xfire clan so everyone can communicate better, be on the lookout!
ATFO Ep. 76 will not be up for a day or two (or three…) because I caught a nasty cold. I tried recording today but had to stop after 3 minutes because my throat felt like sandpaper.
We will release the next episode of Tourney Talk soon and guess what? It’s a new season! This episode marks a new era for the show, the first 9 episodes were good, but they were more of our “trial” stage.
Hope you all enjoy, back to work hehe.
Wow, three quarters of the way to 100 already. I play Soldier Front through the whole video, see some bad and decent Dragunov action haha. Here it is.
Click the new button at the top titled “Online Games” to play some sweet multiplayer games!
ATFO Episode 74 is out as well. I finally get to play some more Nazi Zombies for you guys. Check it out here.
Been working nonstop to bring you all some SF4 footage. I’ve got videos exhibiting the supers, ultras, focus attacks and rival cutscenes for all the characters all displayed in a nice ATFO Page! Check it out HERE.
Also, some of the Tourney Talk Player Profiles have been updated a tad. Take a peek if you are interested.
Episode 73 is embedded here. I got a request to talk about a video and I talk for over 40 minutes. If you want to skip that, go to part 2!
And if you haven’t noticed, I no longer announce when videos will be added to the Media Index. I try to get them in as soon as possible. If you can’t find anything or think something is missing please let me know. Thanks and enjoy!
I finally found a couple hours to help make navigating the site easier. You can still get to tutorials by highlighting from the top of the site, but for the new and improved way: Just find the tutorial category on the right and click!
Those pages are also great to link people that have never heard of the site to!
If there are any mess-ups, please let me know.
Yup, embedded HERE.
We should also be having some new forum tutorials done in the future. Be on the lookout for tips from Halfshadows!
Episode 71 is out now. I answer the questions rather quickly. I think it might be because I have been pretty stressed out lately. Anyway, you can check it out HERE.
Not a long one, Soldier Front play all the time. Check it out here.

Everything isn’t complete yet, and of course will always be updating with time. But I am excited for you all to get to know these people better.
*This interview was done about 3 weeks ago.
-How did you first get started as a GM?

Of all time? Would probably have to be Golden Eye for Nintendo 64
-What do you do in your spare time?
Brazilian Jiu Jistu, Hang out with friends, Hang out with the GF, Typical Stuff.
-Can you give us some hints about some new things being added to Soldier Front?
There may be some pretty cool new clothing coming soon. Not stuff that is already in other versions

I love them all, we are a big family. That is an honest answer.
-What are you guys trying to do to reduce lag?
I cant say yet.
-If you had to choose another job, what would it be?
Professional Millionaire
-Do you guys really spill coffee on the servers?
no its just a running joke
-What advice would you give to gamers?to people who want to be a GM?
I would say keep up with the gaming industry. Definitely work on computer skills. And school always helps. Lastly make sure your resume is solid.
-How much hack report do you get everyday?
It varies day to day. Sometimes 100, sometimes 10
Episode 68 was easily made haha. I spend most of the time playing new games and giving my first impressions of them. HERE is the embedded one. (One Ep. 69 question was answered in 68)
I also posted a new music video which was inspired by an Ep. 68 question. CLICK THIS!
Once again, please let me know if you think something could be messed up. I don’t have time to review the videos so your input is extremely valuable! The main thing I worry about is missing clips.
By the way, CoD World At War videos are recorded. Hopefully I get them posted soon (maybe tomorrow), I think they will be pretty good as long as the voice stays in sync with the video.
I finally got time to record some video tutorials. Some of the little things in the videos might not be too good, but the important thing is that the videos are done. (I had to talk quietly while recording)
I also just finished recording Combat Arms Weapon videos. They will be posted when they are done.
I plan on doing CoD5 stuff too really soon (maybe tomorrow). If you want me to do anything specific, please let me know HERE.
Just saying thanks to those that helped me today.
An hour of questions, then another hour of Red Orchestra and Nazi Zombies. I don’t think the embedded can go full screen, I’ve been having problems with it. But it is available for download from the Media Index if you want the 2 gig high quality version. The embedded one is HERE.
A new episode of TT is finally available. We have Mr. Ghettoontherise in the room with us this time, probably won’t happen again for a good while. A little bit of everything in this episode. Check it out HERE.

This is a post from immortal’s blog. A link is posted to the right of the ATFO Homepage, click it if you want to read everything I (immortal) wrote. The following is about Super Street Fighter 2 HD Remix Gamebattles!
Well speak of the devil himeself I got matched up with my buddy Cesar (mongolorobokop) and barely squeaked by. It went all 3 matches in the best of 3 setting and if I remember correctly I think each match basically went to the final round and sometimes to the very final blow. Good stuff! Both players deserved to win I guess you could say but I didn’t expect it to be any other way.
Played a few matches today and *shazam* I’m up to the #2 spot and rising quickly. #2 spot here on GameBattles that is. On the actual in-game ranked leaderboards… eh… interesting story.
The game has many bugs and glitches already. Not good! One of them has caused errors to many accounts in the remixed mode. Mine is one of those. I was close to cracking the top 100 in the remixed leaderboard when I found my rank had been reset and is stuck now at the bottom of the leaderboards. LOL. Oh well. Classic means a bit more to me anyway at this time and that leads me to the second part of my story.
Cesar was #1 and I was #2 on classic rankings in the game, much like we are currently here on GameBattles. Well I changed that and I leapfrogged him so now I am the #1 man to beat. Haha. Thankfully the rankings don’t seem to be messed up in the classic mode (just another way in which I would argue that classic is still better than remixed).
Look for me online and on the classic leaderboard. Immortalbmw… #1. Just the way I like it!!!! =)
Almost forgot, Clem and Ghettoontherise will battle it out on air during Tourney Talk in Third Strike. Who do you think will win? Make your selection HERE for a chance to reap all the benefits!

I would like to apologize in advance if the episode kind of sucks. I have a ton of stuff I want to create for ATFO right now that should be more fun/useful than ATFO Episodes. On top of that, I have extremely limited time. So I tried to crank this one out quickly, most of the questions I had answered in previous episodes or videos as well.
The site should also be having small visual changes as well.
New SOCOM 2 footage posted on the SOCOM 2 page. Just so you know, the names that pop up near the bottom right screen means that person is talking on the mic to his teamates.

Now available for download in the media section. The end might be the best part.

This episode is now available. If you are not satisfied with any of my answers PLEASE ask again, even if it will be the 3rd time. This episode is different from the rest, I don’t really play any games, so if you mainly watch for that don’t bother on this one haha. I couldn’t record it all at once and I was a little frustrated because of that so the quality might not be that great. If at any time you don’t like it, the entire video will most likely be that way so save yourself some time and don’t watch it.
Episode 44 is now available for download in the media section. I just can’t seem to fix my voice…

Don’t fret though, these new forums are crammed full of sweet features just begging to be discovered. All I can say is, explore, explore, explore. ATFO is also giving away Call of Duty 4 to the person who reffers more people to the forums than anyone else. So spread the news!
Please move all your threads from the old forum to the new one. If anything needs stickied, PM me.
The old forums will be locked July 5th, the link to the old forums will be removed July 28th.
Finally have another guest in the house. I hope you enjoy.
Yup, check out that new tab at the top if you haven’t noticed it!
I have loads of things I would like to bring to you guys. It all takes time though. There are also some barriers I must cross first. I ask that you please be patient and stick around. I have a lot lined up for ATFO, I just need a lot of time to work on everything to make ATFO one of the best websites on the internet. Thanks for understanding! I really want everything in my head to be available as soon as possible, but it can sometimes be hard to find the time to focus on them. Once I get everything created, I plan on hosting events and stuff so we can play some games together, should be pretty cool! Don’t worry, I’m not saying I won’t do the show, just telling you all that the extra stuff might take longer than expected.
Posted! I haven’t watched the final thing, but I think this episode is a little mixed. Watch to see what I mean.
Be sure to check it out, 3 competitive gamers in the house! Tourney Talk will be ATFO’s 2nd regular video production. Future episodes will contain excellent video as well as improved audio, please give it some time for the audio.
