Crossfire

CrossFire is a basic military shooter with objective-based game modes. Weapons do not have attachments or fire modes.

    Game Modes
  • Elimination - Each team spawns with a knife but you pick up weapons on the ground at your spawn. Once you die you wait for the next round to spawn.
  • Escape Mode – One team must rush to an escape point and destroy a door or two blocking their path.
  • Free For All - Standard every man for them self.
  • Ghost Mode – Similar to Search & Destroy except one team is ghosts that use only knifes and turn completely invisible when standing still.
  • Mutation Mode – One player starts as a mutant and tries to infect the humans.
  • Search & Destroy – One team works to plant a bomb at one of two locations defended by the enemy.
  • Team Death Match – Respawning team death match.

Paying players will have a slight advantage over free players because they can purchase weapons with larger magazines, armor for reduced damage, and pretty aesthetics.

CrossFire is a waste of time because it brings nothing new to the FPS genre. Overall the game is ‘simple’; the graphics are below average, the maps aren’t complex, the weapons have no attachments, and the game modes can be found in almost every other free FPS. Basically everything in this game has been done by another game, and CrossFire does it worse. The only significant thing to mention is Ghost Mode because it is rare to find elsewhere, however Wolf Team does have wolves that turn completely invisible when standing still. – RenegadeFerret 8/3/2010
