Rakion is a third person game where you battle other players in a variety of game modes. Classes include mages, swordsmen, archers and more. The maps range from large to small. When you level up, you put points into some of the many skills the characters have. Money is earned and spent on better weapons and skills. You attack with mouse clicks and the game focuses a lot on delay from attacks. The game also has a chaos system where, for a period of time, you transform into a super strong character which differs depending on you class. There are normal TDM games and Golem games where you have to kill the enemy’s Golem/Boss to win (or kill their whole team). There’s also a stage-based quest which you can do cooperatively or alone.
Cash allows you to buy much better equipment which are tons better than the free stuff. If you have a full set, you will dominate even if you are just an average player. Unless you can fight Dragons and Taurens on your own, it is best to buy cash if you want to get a decent score.
Rakion is a slow-paced third-person action game that relies heavily on equipment and levels. The more you pay, the more you win. The game is nice, but the money power-ups ruin it. – Shotzzzz August 15, 2010
